Woodstock Equestrian Spirit Chime ESC
Tuned to the opening notes of the bugle call that starts horse races.
Humans began to domesticate horses around 4000 BC. Today we interact with horses in a number of ways: riding them for entertainment, using them as therapy animals, as farm workers, and, of course, racing them for sport. "And they're off" - the familiar bugle call that signals the start of a horse race serves as the scale to which this chime is musically-tuned. The rearing horse silhouette is cut from a single piece of stainless steel that was treated with a flamed finish, producing wonderful burnished, coppery colors.
